Wind your clock back to 1994 – after a hugely popular run in New York, the FRIENDS Pop-Up is coming to Boston!

Celebrating 25 years of the iconic show that brought us Unagi and Smelly Cat, the FRIENDS™ Boston Pop-Up will let you step inside the world of your favorite TV show. 

We’re more excited than Janice when she runs into Chandler at a party!

WHEN AND WHERE

The immersive pop-up experience will run from November 21 to January 5, in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood at 401 Park (corner of Brookline Ave and Fullerton St). 

Tickets went on sale on November 1 and, considering the New York event sold out immediately, we’ll be surprised if they last much longer. Get yours now here. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

With re-creations of sets like Chandler and Joey’s apartment and Central Perk along with more than 50 original props from the show, this is an immersive experience to say the least. 

If you’ve been yearning to stick a turkey on your head, peek through Rachel and Monica’s purple door, or relax on Chandler and Joey’s recliner after playing some foosball, this is your chance. 

There will also be a wide range of exclusive merch available, so you can make all your friends who didn’t come with you super jealous.

PICS OR IT DIDN’T HAPPEN

Because by now everyone knows – if you attend an event and don’t get a pic for the gram, did it really happen? – there are photo ops aplenty at this pop-up. 

You’ll be able to PIVOT and pose with Ross’s couch on the steps, get your own gang together in front of that fountain from the opening sequence, and take a casual snap on the orange couch from Central Perk. 

You can also just sit and sip coffee, too, if that’s more your speed. College students rejoice: you’ll be eligible for a 10% discount on food, beverages, and merchandise with your valid student ID.

CELEBRATE FRIENDSGIVING AND NEW YEARS

Not only does the event stay open during the holidays, but it’s transforming for two very special events. 

Thursday, November 28 will see the space decked out for Friendsgiving, a day-long celebration with themed decor. Superfans can enjoy their favorite Thanksgiving moments from the show and take home a special FRIENDS-themed food item at the end of the experience.

You can also celebrate New Year’s with FRIENDS over two separate events, the first runs from 9:30am to 12:10am on New Year’s Eve, and the second is held from 9:30am to 10pm on New Year’s Day. There will be dancers showing you how to do Ross and Monica’s infamous dance routine from the New Year’s Eve episode, and party favors to get you in the holiday spirit.
