Discussing The Invisible Kingdom: Reimagining Chronic Illness, by Meghan O’Rourke

The “Tender Loving Care” Book Club is a warm, informal three-part series that convenes around books with special relevance to the exhibition’s central theme of care.

In each session participants can discuss the assigned book with guest artists whose work is on view in “Tender Loving Care: Contemporary Art from the Collection” as well as one of the exhibition’s curators. Held in an intimate space with access to the galleries, these talks eschew the lecture format, instead building community through participatory conversation with artists and writers present.
