Please join SIDE Presents for OURS on October 14, 2024, an afternoon of celebration, creativity, and community as you honor Indigenous Peoples’ Day through powerful performances and artistic expression. This year, you’ll be happy to have A Trike Called Funk with you, bringing together an incredible lineup of guest artists who will stir your soul and inspire your spirit.

Experience the magic of Jon “Phes” Souza from NYC as he merges Brazilian Portuguese and English in a live musical performance while creating a breathtaking Afro-Brazilian painting right before your eyes. Be captivated by the graceful mastery of Capoeira Angola, led by Mestre Deraldo Ferreira and members of CECA Boston. And last but not least, let the beautiful voice of Evelyn Blush serenade you through a spirit-lifting performance of her original and cover songs.

Last year, OURS celebrated artists’ journeys with music, theater, and art installations, creating a space for reflection and connection. This year, OURS continues that tradition of fostering warmth, respect, and healing as you come together to honor Indigenous peoples and their rich heritage.
