About Kennen Jakhan & The Story

Kennen Jakhan is a versatile performer, songwriter, producer, and choreographer, born in Flint, MI, but raised in Newburgh, NY. Passionate, expressive, and dynamic, Jakhan has performed both abroad and on US soil. While their start was in the New York music scenes, they would go on to sing background for 70’s band Toby Beau in 2014,  headline for a variety of cruise ships, In 2017 they were selected by Paul Roberts (choreographer of artists such as One Direction, The Spice Girls, Katy Perry, and more), Jill Hillier (choreographer of Ricky Martin, Gwen Stefani, Nicki Minaj, and more) and Keith Young (choreographer on the film Rent, Bette Midler, En Vogue, and more) to be a lead vocalist for a string of brand new shows for Carnival Cruise Line.

Joey Madison, hailing from Enola, Pennsylvania, is a versatile singer-songwriter whose musical journey began in the enchanting world of musical theater before she found her soulful groove in the realms of Soul and Funk. Drawing inspiration from illustrious artists like Sammy Rae, Samm Henshaw, and the legendary Earth, Wind & Fire, Joey Madison weaves a unique tapestry of sound that combines rich, emotive vocals with groovy, infectious rhythms. Her transition from the stage to the world of soul and funk is a testament to her artistic evolution, infusing her music with depth, authenticity, and a captivating stage presence.
