The Fenway Fridays 3.0
For the third year in a row, The Fenway Fridays are back!
We had to get extra creative this year, of course. We’re nixing the crowds and the parties. We’re encouraging social distancing. We’re putting safety first.
And we’re making fun a very close second.
Because The Fenway Fridays have always been about celebrating what makes this neighborhood special, that’s exactly what we’re doing.
Picnic in The Fenway
Instead of a single culinary experience, we’re bringing you seven.
Each Friday, from August 28th through October 9th, a different neighborhood restaurant will carefully curate and sell a limited number of Fenway Picnic Boxes.
You can order one box, a couple of key favorites or – if you’re like us and simply can’t choose – all seven boxes.
When the day arrives, grab your grub, a buddy, and a (socially distant) spot in a local park for the ultimate picnic experience.
Don’t just toss your box aside when the meal is over, either. Each week, we will hide a golden ticket in one picnic – good for a freebie from a local shop!
The Fomu Box
Date: August 28th
We’re screaming. Because this is the FIRST box of The Fenway Fridays. And because we love FoMu ice cream. The sundae package serves 5 people and includes:
2 Pints
Two Containers of Toppings
Four Cones
A FoMu Ice Cream Scoop
An Insulated Bag
FoMu will donate 10% of proceeds to Boston Main Streets.
How to Order
Call 857-284-7229 starting on August 21st or visit in person. The pick-up window for your FoMu box will be between 1 and 9 PM on August 28th.
The Eventide Fenway Box
Date: September 4th
Seafood lovers, unite… and share this tasty Eventide Fenway Picnic Box! It will house a number of your favorites, including:
1 Tuna Poke Bowl
1 Crab Toast
1 Tomato Salad
1 Kimchi
1 Whoopie Pie
Eventide Fenway will donate a percentage of proceeds to the ACLU Boston
How to Order:
Email [email protected] between Monday, August 31st and Thursday, September 3rd. The pick-up window for your Eventide Fenway box will be between 3 and 6 PM on Friday, September 4th.
The Build-Your-Own Time Out Market Box
Dates: September 11th and October 9th
You’ll have two chances to make-your-own box throughout The Fenway Friday series at Time Out Market. With a wide-range of vendors, you’ll get to craft the perfect box for you.
Time Out Market Card ($40 to be spent at any Time Out Market kitchen)
2 Livin’ La Vita Loca Cocktails (virgin or with alcohol)
2 Bottles of Sparkling Ferrarelle Water
2 Time Out Coffee Mugs
2 Time Out Stainless Steel Straws
2 “Secret” Union Square Donuts
Time Out Market will donate a percentage of proceeds to the Lovin’ Spoonfuls.
How to Order:
Reserve a box through Eventbrite as early as a week in advance, up until noon on the Thursday before each Fenway Fridays date. The pick-up window for your Time Out Market boxes will be between 5 and 9 PM on September 11thand October 9th.
The nathálie Box
Date: September 25th
Your favorite wine bar is taking to the outdoors with this nathálie Fenway Fridays Picnic Basket.

The Citizen Public House Box
Date: September 18th
This is Citizen Public House’s everything-but-the-blanket box for a picnic on The Fens. And it’s perfect for you and a friend.

Date: October 2nd
Tasty Burger is bringing you options for The Fenway Fridays because they like variety. You can try the Dog Days of Summer Picnic (for four-legged friends and their humans) or the BBQ Picnic Box.
