REI Co-op Presents: The Fenway’s One-Stop (Bike) Shop

Who says you have to wait until spring to get back out on two wheels?

Certainly not us. Late winter and early spring mark a great time to get a head start on your cycling.

The Bike Shop at REI Fenway

February is an opportune time to get your bike into the shop to beat the rush of cyclists who will wait to do so on that first 60-degree day. The bike shop at REI Fenway is open year-round and provides a full range of services to tune, repair, and enhance your bike’s performance.

On Saturday, February 19 between 11am-3pm, bring your bike to REI’s complimentary quick fix event outside of The Rink at 401 Park for a basic tune up and to get expert advice from our Master Tech.

Did your bike pull a Tom Brady and announce its retirement?

Well, now’s the time to think about a successor. With the rise in popularity, bikes seem to fly off the shelf once they land at our Fenway location, or maybe they roll off the floor, but you get the point.

Stop by REI Fenway and chat with one of our expert green vests about the right bike for you. They’ll ask a few questions about your desired usage and make a recommendation for your new outdoor companion.

Plus, all bikes purchased at REI can be brought into any of our shops for free adjustments within a year of purchase. If you’re not already a member, become one when you get your new wheels, as members get 10% off all shop services along with plenty of more perks.

If your bike’s in its prime (first, good for you), let’s talk about gear. Are you all set for the rides ahead this season?

REI is a resource the apparel and accessory needs of all Boston cyclists, from helmets to car racks. If you want to get a feel for what you might need from the comfort of your home, join us on for a free virtual outfitting session. You’ll be paired with a cycling enthusiast to chat about what you might need for your next adventure, whether it’s commuting along Mass Ave. or a climb up the trails of the Blue Hills.

At REI, we believe that spending time outside is fundamental to a life well-lived. If your preferred time outside is on a saddle, know that your local REI Co-op is a resource for you year-round.

Where will your bike take you next?
