November in The Fenway
We know that The Fenway got its rep from those bustling summer months filled with baseball and bar crawls. But it’s in November, when the Sox season is over and the weather is cool, that you get to really see what this neighborhood has to offer.
It’s a month known for food, football and, of course, fun. And we’ve got it all right here.
Get your grub on – Tasty Burger
Tasty Burger will be launching the tastiest series in history – Chef Burgers of Boston – this month. That means, you have all of November to try The Homegrown Burger created by Townsmen chef, Matt Jennings. Don’t miss your shot!
NOVEMBER 1, 3-5, 7-8, 10-18, 20-21, 24-26, 28, 30
Give Thanks for Music – House of Blues
Let’s face it, we’re always grateful for the steady stream of shows at the House of Blues. But with a November roster that includes Krewella and Macklemore, we are as eager as ever to express our gratitude. So, let us be explicit: Thank you, House of Blues! As always, you’re the music to our ears.
Reverb on the Roof – The Verb Hotel
This is probably your last shot to enjoy outdoor music for the season, and there’s no better venue for it than Boston’s most rock & roll hotel. This is the last show of The Verb Hotel’s six-week music series promoting Boston Music Award artists, and it’s bound to be the best one yet.
Reach for your sweet dreams – Liberty Hall
Okay, we admit, this doesn’t technically take place in our neighborhood. But, since our favorite doughnut shop in The Fenway is participating, we thought it was worth the shout out. Also, we can’t deny the perfect combination that is beer and doughnuts.
Compete like a warrior – Fenway Park
With this two-day Spartan Race, you don’t have to be a member of the Boston Red Sox to compete at Fenway. But, like the Sox, you’re sure to feel like a winner. In true warrior fashion, your team will face up to 23 obstacles and 3-5 miles of running all within the historic park.
Celebrate culture on-screen – Museum of Fine Arts
The Boston Jewish Film Festival is an annual event that aims to capture Jewish culture on screen. Though this takes place over the course of twelve days throughout Boston, there are several viewings right here in The Fenway at the MFA.
Who run the world? Women Musicians Network! – Berklee Performance Center
If you like music, then this is the show for you. Female musicians studying at Berklee are coming together for one evening of jazz, pop, hip-hop, world music, dance, inspirational, and R&B. It’s a lineup that you won’t want to miss!
NOVEMBER 10, 11, 18, 22
Catch touchdowns, not homeruns – Fenway Park
The Sox season may not have gone according to plan, but that doesn’t mean we are starved for entertainment at Fenway Park. In the name of football season, watch the beloved park go through a transformation so your favorite college rivals can compete on sacred turf!
Turn up your everyday look – Sephora Fenway
Sephora wants you to feel like a superstar every single day, not just on special occasions. And they’re willing to teach you the art of glowing skin, smoky eyes and perfect lip color for free. All you have to do is sign up on the class section of their website or visit their Fenway location.
Find your lucky charm – Fenway Park
The luck of the Irish will take over baseball’s favorite park during this Hurling Classic and Festival. Hurling is definitely the highlight of this full-day event, but fans can also enjoy cultural music, dancing, and food!
Party in the name of the arts – Boston Symphony Orchestra
Never has there been so many benefits in one party. First, you’ll get to enjoy a cocktail party that’s been described as both magical and musical – win, win. And second, the ticket proceeds for this event will support The Fenway Alliance Opening Our Doors Festival, which is one we look forward to every year!
Shop til you drop – The Fenway neighborhood
Sure, it’s Black Friday everywhere. But, in The Fenway, we take shopping very seriously. From beauty products to decor, you can find it here. And did we mention specials? MiniLuxe is in the holiday spirit with their holiday gift card promotion that runs through December 24th. If you buy a $100 gift card, you’ll receive a Complimentary Signature Manicure.
